The new mini SUV concept from Nissan, the Kicks, has been unveiled at the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil. The Japanese car manufacturer had released a few teaser images of this new SUV recently as well. Certain similarities can be seen between this new vehicle and another concept that debuted back in 2012, the Nissan Extrem concept.
The car measures the same as the Nissan Terrano in length and roughly the same in height and width as well. It also contains all the styling elements required for it to look SUV-ish such as roof rails, a contrast roof, aggressive design all round, butch 19 inch alloy wheels framed by the flared wheel arches and more. Nissan Design America in San Diego, USA and Nissan Design America in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil collaborated to work on the Kicks mini SUV.
The chances of mass production of the Nissan Kicks have not been confirmed so far, but if this vehicle does go into production in Brazil, it will be positioned on a rung lower than the Nissan Juke. The company has not divulged any information pertaining to the engines or gearboxes of the Kicks and whether or not this vehicle will be put on sale in other countries.
