We have driven the Tata Bolt hatch and while you can read our review on the same elsewhere, here are some images from the drive. The Bolt is a crucial launch for Tata Motors as it intends to grab a slice of the premium hatch space and it certainly looks good. Below are the images of the Bolt drive which took place in Udaipur.
Bolt has aggressive styling and looks the best at the front with the smoked projector headlamps.
From the side is where you will see a lot of the Vista but much more modern looking and muscular here. Tata Bolt gets 15 inch alloys.
At the rear you have a darkened C-pillar which gives it a floating roof design.
Just like the Tata Zest you have the Revotron 1.2T, 4 cylinder, Turbocharged petrol with 89 bhp while there is also the 74 bhp 1.3 diesel. You can select from three driving modes.
Interiors are feature loaded like the Zest too but with a sportier theme.
Tata Bolt gets a ConnectNext Touchscreen Infotainment by Harman with various features like Smart phone based navigation (for Android OS)
Steering Wheel Mounted Controls for phone and audio
Multi Information Display (MID) including Distance-to-empty and Drive mode indication (for Sport & Eco)
Rear seat space in the Tata Bolt is impressive.
Tata Bolt has boot space of 210 litres.
Launched with a starting price of Rs 4.5 lakh. Available in 5 colours and 4 trim levels.
