Toyota India have launched the new Innova and much awaited 4x4 automatic version of the Fortuner. The new Innova has been launched to celebrate its 10 years in India and we might add, its complete dominance over its segment. Anyways back to the changes and we will describe in brief what has changed. For starters in the new Innova you have tweaked front grille, moulding on the side, rear back door chrome garnish, Outer mirror cover with turn signal indicator. On the inside you have wood finish steering wheel, new design leather seats, oak interior colour. The 2.5 litre engine delivers 13.31 kmpl.
Onto the Fortuner and the big change is the 4x4 automatic. Plus other changes include 12-spoke 17 inch Dark Grey Alloy Wheels, Front Fog Lamps with Silver Bezel, smoked front/rear lights. You also have new black interior with features like Touch screen DVD Display & Navigation with Voice Recognition. The 3.0 Litre Engine delivers 11.50 kmpl. Both the new Innova and Fortuner now have two new colors- Bronze Mica metallic and Silver Metallic apart from the existing colors available. Also both come standard with Front (Driver + passenger) SRS bags which makes Toyota India the first manufacturer in India to standardize front airbags across all models and in all grades. Finally Innova price range starts at Rs. 10,51,451 and Rs. 15,80,930, Ex-showroom Delhi (post increased excise duty) while the Fortuner price range starts at Rs 24,17,200 and Rs. 26,49,429, Ex-showroom Delhi (post increased excise duty).
