Mahindra Rolls Out its 5 Millionth Vehicle

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., the leading SUV manufacturer of India, rolled out its 5 millionth vehicle from its plant in Kandivali, Mumbai. The 4x4 off-roader of the company, the Mahindra Thar, was rolled out as the 5 millionth vehicle.

The automotive sector of Mahindra has a presence in almost every segment of the automobile industry from commercial vehicles to utility vehicles, SUVs, sedans and electric vehicles. The automotive manufacturing facilities of the company are located at Chakan, Nasik, Haridwar, Zaheerabad, Kandivali and Igatpuri.

Acknowledging the milestone, Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra Group, said: This rollout of our 5 millionth vehicle marks an important milestone in our automotive journey over the past seven decades. It is also a reflection of the commitment and can-do spirit of our people who continually strive to raise their game while producing world class vehicles.
