This is the latest concept vehicle from South Korean car maker Hyundai. It is a pickup truck concept called the Santa Cruz and it looks very interesting with its fluorescent green rear view mirrors, sharply styled front grille and so on.
From the side, its pickup truck dimensions are quite clear. This new Santa Cruz sports a proper door and then a smaller door behind it to access the rear of the vehicle. Its massive tyres and alloys are also clear to see from this angle.
The tail lights are definitely a Hyundai element as it bears a strong resemblance to the Hyundai Elite i20. When the tailgate is opened, the loading area is quite easily accessible. The flared wheel arches of the Santa Cruz are also emphasized well.
The Santa Cruz features a high mounted stop lamp to warn vehicles behind. The loading area is large and the intrusion from the wheel wells is minimal. There are plenty of grab rails which can also be used to tie down cargo.
The headlight clusters of the Hyundai Santa Cruz concept look amazing and very futuristic. However, expect the production version of this vehicle to have a few design changes when compared to the concept.
This pickup truck has a massive hexagonal front grille flanked by the headlamp clusters and foglights on both sides. Being a pickup, it also has a skid plate to prevent vital components from getting damaged while driving over rough terrain. It also has tow hooks which can be used to attach winches and so on.
