Toyota Showcases the HiAce at the 2015 Bus and Special Vehicle Show

At the 4th SIAM Bus and Special Vehicle Show that is currently underway at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Japanese vehicle manufacturer Toyota has previewed their upcoming offering, Hiace. Dubbed as the first Luxury Commuter Vehicle in India, the Hiace is sold in more than 140 countries in the world. First displayed at the 12th Auto Expo last year, the Toyota Hiace has the D4-D engine with 135 bhp and 300 Nm of torque plus a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Of most importance is the fact that the Hiace has a seating capacity for 10 passengers including the driver with 4 row seating and let us add that it scores very well in the comfort levels. Plus it is very practical and has tonnes of luggage space. On the features front the Toyota Hiace has air conditioning vents for all rows, power slider door that enables effortless opening and closing, reclining seats on all rows, ABS, an engine immobiliser, airbags for both front passengers, a reversing camera with a display on the cabin rear view mirror and so on.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. N Raja, Director & Senior Vice President (Sales & Marketing), Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. said- We have been continuously studying the market for customer preferences and thus based on customer needs we are showcasing the Toyota Hiace- a product with premium features at the 4th Bus and Special Vehicle Show. The Hiace is sold in 140 countries and has clocked sales of around 6 million units across the world. We are showcasing the Hiace for our potential business customers. The Hiace will be the first of its kind offering from Toyota in India. Like all other Toyota vehicles, the Hiace is equally designed to provide unparalleled satisfaction in terms of comfort and safety.

Toyota plans to launch the Hiace by early second half of this year.
