Unmistakeable from any angle as a proper Jag, the new XE will be powered by a set of engines that range from 2.0 litres to the top end 3.0 litre, supercharged V6 motor that belts out 335 bhp. Petrol and diesel engines will be available as will the option of choosing between a 6 speed manual or an 8 speed automatic gearbox.
Range Rover Sport SVR
This will be the most powerful Land Rover SUV ever made. As far as intros go, that is a pretty good one! Under the bonnet of the Range Rover Sport SVR will be a fire-breathing 5.0 litre, supercharged V8 engine that puts out an incredible 542 bhp. An 8 speed automatic transmission built by ZF will route the power to all 4 wheels.
Jaguar F-Type AWD
The F-Type AWD from Jaguar carries the same aforementioned 5.0 litre, supercharged V8. This engine produces 542 bhp, is aided by the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics system developed by Jaguar and delivers its power to all 4 wheels instead of just the front ones. 0-100 kph is dealt with in 3.9 seconds and top speed is an electronically limited 300 kph.
Land Rover Discovery Sport
Unlike the more utilitarian Discoveries of old, this new Discovery Sport is the first of a totally new Discovery family. There will be plenty of engine options both in diesel and petrol versions. Gearboxes range from 6 speed manuals to 9 speed automatics. This vehicle is poised for a mid-2015 launch and it will bring with it the legendary go-anywhere capability that Land Rovers have always been famous for.
