German automotive giant Volkswagen has unveiled a new version of their Polo hatchback called the Polo AllStar.
The vehicle is based on the top end Highline trim level and will cost slightly more than the standard equivalent model. We expect Volkswagen to release pricing details for this new car soon.
Mechanically, the Polo AllStar does not see any changes. The car will be driven either by a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that makes 89 bhp or the 1.2 litre, 3 cylinder petrol engine that puts out 74 bhp.
Both these engines will be connected to a 5 speed manual gearbox. All the changes that VW has made with this car are cosmetic.
This new hatchback can be ordered in one of 5 exterior paint colours including Blue Silk, which was first seen on the Ameo. Apart from this, the vehicle can also be specified in either Reflex Silver, Flash Red, Candy White or Toffee Brown.
Other new features include 15 inch diamond cut alloy rims, 5 stripes that run over the seat upholstery, and AllStar badging on the door sill plates and the B-pillar.
You also get a front centre armrest, rear AC vents, aluminium pedals with rubber inserts to prevent your foot from slipping and a rear cupholder, amongst others.
