The Honda City has been launched in its latest avatar in the Indian car market today. Prices range from INR 8.50 lakhs to INR 13.57 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The car is available in 5 trim levels: S, SV, V, VX and ZX. The petrol manual model is available in all 5 trim levels while the petrol CVT automatic is available only in the top 3 variants. The diesel version of the car is available in all trim levels barring the base S version. In this article, we explain what you get in each of them.
The base version gets LED daytime running lamps, 15 inch steel wheels, a 3.5 inch display, an audio system with bluetooth, aux-in and USB, a manual AC, a foldable key, power adjustable wing mirrors, keyless entry, dual front airbags, Isofix and ABS with EBD.
In addition to the features of the S variant, the SV comes with steering mounted controls, chromed exterior door handles, turn indicators on the wing mirrors, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, cruise control, power foldable rear view mirrors, driver seat height adjustment, rear centre armrest with cupholders, range-to-empty and instant fuel economy displays.
This trim level gets front fog lamps, 15 inch alloy wheels, a 7 inch infotainment system with 1.5GB memory, MirrorLink, WiFi support, a navigation module, voice recognition, HDMI and microSD slots, two USB ports, voice commands, push button engine ignition, Honda smart key, rear camera, paddle shift (in the CVT version) and an Econ button.
The VX variants sees the inclusion of LED headlights, LED fog lamps, a sunroof, 16 inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, soft touch dashboard, auto dimming cabin mirror, telescopic steering adjustment and rear reading lamps.
The ZX is the range-topping trim level in the City portfolio and, as you would expect, it is also the best equipped one among them all. This variant comes with LED tail lamps, LED license plate lamps, a rear spoiler, automatic headlights, rain sensing wipers, adjustable rear head restraints, LED front and rear reading lamps, and 6 airbags.
