Both the Honda City and the WR-V seemed to have struck a cord with the Indian car buyers as both have notched up a high number of bookings. The WR-V has got 1000 bookings in less than a few weeks as bookings had begun some time before the launch. The City meanwhile has recorded a whopping 14,000 bookings since its bookings started on 3rd February. The Honda City in its new avatar and the WR-V are both crucial for the car-makers fortunes.
The City continues to be its best selling car and the top-end version is in the most demand. the City has infact ignited a fresh war in the midsize sedan space which saw few launches. The immediate good response for the WR-V indicates the every increasing demand for crossovers. The WR-V in petrol is seeing a good demand and interest in particular. In other news, prices for all the Honda cars excluding the WR-V will increase by upto Rs 10,000.
