Mercedes recently revealed its quarterly sales and it has recorded its its best ever with selling 3,650 units in the January-March 2017 period. With SUVs in demand it is no surprise that its luxury SUV portfolio consisting of the GLA, GLC, GLE, GLE Coupe and the GLS grew the highest by 13% in Q1 2017. For Mercedes its newest SUV, the GLC, has emerged as the highest selling SUV.
Its overall best seller is however the E-Class which has always been the mainstay of the range with re-emerging as the highest selling model, taking over from the C-Class. The new E-Class was launched in February this year with prices starting at Rs 56.15 lakh. Currently Mercedes offers the new E-Class in E200 petrol and E350 diesel.
