Hyundai is planning two sedans for the Indian market in the coming months. First is the new Xcent which is set for a 20th April launch. Compared to the earlier one, changes are quite extensive now. The styling is completely different from the Grand hatch on which it is based. It gets a massive grille, updated headlamps with LED DRLs along with a revised bumper. The side remains the same while you also have new alloys too. The rear though is completely new with new tail-lamps, bumper and a chrome strip. Just like the Grand the interiors are upgraded too with added features seen on the new Grand launched recently.
After the new Xcent, the car maker will also launch new gen Verna. To be launched around August this year the new Verna looks a scaled down Elantra with the same styling theme and thus looks quite attractive. Interiors too are now much better looking and will come with a whole lot of features. Crucially there is more space now which the current one lacks. Engine options are expected to be carried over from the current model though it will also get a mild hybrid system.
