The new compact SUV from Skoda is called as Karoq which would be the replacement for the Yeti. The Karoq will be slotted below the Kodiaq which is coming this year. The Karoq unlike the Yeti has a different design language and a much less polarising one. The Karoq compact SUV measures 4,382 mm in length, is 1,841 mm wide, and 1,605 mm high. The long wheelbase of 2,638 millimetres (all-wheel version: 2,630 mm).
Thus it is now more practical and roomy unlike the current Yeti. The Karoq legroom is 68 millimetres while it has a boot capacity of 521 litres which can be increased to 1,630 litres. There are more features too with SmartLink+ platform, compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink, is available as an option for the basic infotainment system Swing. There are even Full LED headlights. Engine options would be two petrol engines and two diesels with both 4x4 option along with auto and manual gearboxes. The launch would happen later this year for the overseas markets while India will get it next year or with a possible Auto Expo reveal.
