Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 151,215 units in April 2017. This includes 144,492 units in domestic market and 6,723 units of exports. The Company had sold a total of 126,569 units in April 2016. Its core products continue to do well but Maruti also scored big numbers with its Brezza and recently updated Ciaz which is sold in NEXA.

Ford India sold 25,149 vehicles from 16,470 vehicles in the corresponding month last year. April domestic wholesales stood at 7,618 vehicles, up from 6,531 units, while exports grew to 17,531 vehicles from 9,939 units in the same month last year.
In April 2017, Tata Motors passenger vehicles, in the domestic market, continued its growth momentum at 12,827 nos, a growth of 23%, over April 2016. The Tiago, Tigor and Hexa continue to do good numbers.
Mahindra overall numbers have declined as sales numbers stood at 39,357 vehicles during April 2017, as against 41,863 vehicles during April 2016. The company———s domestic sales stood at 37,829 vehicles during April 2017, as against 39,357 vehicles during April 2016.
On the back of WRV and City, Honda registered monthly domestic sales of 14,480 units in April 2017 against 10,486 units in corresponding month last year, registering a growth of 38.1%.
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd.———s wholesale deliveries increased 39% in April 2017 to 4,217 vehicles, thanks to customer demand for the Datsun redi-GO and the recently introduced new Nissan Terrano. Sales rose to 4,217 vehicles in April 2017 from 3,028 in April 2016.
