After its much awaited launch and of course those super aggressive prices, the Jeep Compass expectedly has got off to a good start with close to a 1000 units sold. The number will significantly rise in this month and Jeep is working hard to clear demand and minimise waiting period. The Compass starts from Rs 14.95 lakh while the top-end trim is Rs 20.65 lakh. There are three trims- Sport, Longitude and Limited. Most of the demand has been for the top-end Limited variant and many are also opting for 4x4 diesel and the automatic petrol.
The top-end trim gets many features like the 7 inch touchscreen, dual-roof, climate control, reverse camera etc. As you know the Compass has a 2.0 diesel and a 1.4 turbo petrol with the petrol having an automatic choice while has the diesel has the option for 4x4. We expect next few months, the Compass will do triple of its first month numbers and more with issue of supply and demand being well managed by FCA being the most important factor.
