Build & Styling

The DB9 Coupe can be best described as a super luxury sports car. ——The two-door coupe is the first Aston Martin model which was developed on the aluminium VH model of Ford. The innovative bonded aluminium structure has more than double the torsional rigidity compared to its predecessors. The VH body structure made of extruded aluminium along with aluminium composite body panels and side-impact beams make the car 25 percent lighter. The car accommodates 2+2 people, providing a sporting feel.

An exciting combination of superior technology, style, quality, elegance and usability, the DB9 Coupe is without doubt a timeless beauty.  The car uses a standard 19”20-spoke alloy wheel with diamond turned design, a revised anodized aluminium five-bar grille to spread its elegance in thin air. The car also features a centre console trimmed with iridium silver for outer finish and graphite for inner finish along with a new Emotion Control Unit made of glass and polished stainless steel and polycarbonate. DB9 Coupe features unique ‘swan-wing’ doors which rise at an angle of 12-degrees for enhanced access.

The interior of the DB9 Coupe is as elegant as the exteriors, with iridium finishing and graphite finishing, blended with high quality leather and a combination of five different hand-finished wood trims, ranging from Walnut to Piano Black. Other features include auto dimming interior rear-view mirror, electronically adjustable seats, memory seats and exterior mirrors in three positions. Comforts in the exquisite car include heated front seats, heated rear screen, organic electroluminescent displays, trip computer, cruise control and automatic temperature control. The use of Bilstein shocks, new suspension arms and bushings ensures a smoother ride. Aston Martin DB9 Coupe also has the luxury of remote-control door locking and boot.

The DB9 Coupe provides dual-stage driver and front passenger frontal airbags and front occupant side airbags. The car provides for rear parking sensors and tyre-pressure monitoring system. Burglars need to watch out for the alarm and immobiliser features. Other safety features in the car include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Traction Control (TC).
