Aston Martin Vantage range of automobiles have always taken performance and driving characteristics to its extremes while not moving out of the traditional way of how Aston Martin luxury cars are crafted. The V8 Vantage S Roadster comes as a supremely thrilling package since it is built to be more powerful and aerodynamic than its other V8 siblings and lets the occupants experience its strengths to the fullest by letting the roof hide behind its skin. Inspired by the GT motorsport programme, the performance of V8 Vantage S Roadster is enhanced which brings to life every drive and enthralls occupants every second. It has a delight sight because its fluidic form and wonderful finish and its interior reflect the exceptional skill of craftsmen at Aston Martin. Engineered to give back more power and torque, the V8 makes wonders when it is on road. Powertrain & Performance

Aston Martin has designed the V8 powertrain to get best output with high refinement and less consumption. The material of engine case and moving elements are all carefully picked to reduce weight of the 4735 cc petrol engine. The maximum power delivered from the engine is 430 bhp @ 7300 rpm and peak torque comes up to 490 Nm @ 5000 rpm. There are bypass valves at exhaust to lessen engine sound at low rpms. The roadster drives past the 100 km/h mark with ease and can hit a top-speed of 305 km/h. The mill is also engineered to deliver about 70 percent of its peak torque right from the 1500 rpm mark such that the driver can sense the punch at the push of the acceleration pedal. The 7-speed Sportshift II automatic transmission gearbox shifts gear at perfect intervals of rpm and makes it easy for the vehicle to touch top-speeds or bring down speeds quickly whenever necessary.

Independent double wishbone type suspensions fit to the lightweight chassis bring out marvellous driving control and comfort occupants under G forces during cornering and braking.

Build & Styling

Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Roadster is splendid in its looks with large wheel arches, smooth and fluidic finish of sheet metal, fast windshield angle, C-shaped LED tail lamp and well pronounced tailgate edge. Large wheel arches and muscular pronouncing of bonnet display the performance of the roadster. V-spoke alloy wheels look classy and enhance the personality of V8 Vantage S Roadster. The fabric roof-line comes into position or sets back with the push of a button. It is crafted to keep the cabin air-tight along with perfectly sealed window-lines. Carbon fibre splitter and rear diffuser improvise aerodynamics of V8 Vantage S Roadster. Under the skin is a bonded extruded aluminium structure which is lightweight and rigid for higher agility and better strength.

Look into the interior and leather is seen everywhere from dashboard to seats and from centre console to door trims. All control buttons operate with soft touch and are ergonomically positioned to comfort occupants. The gadgets over centre console get smooth finishing with graphite inner finish on certain surfaces. Automatic temperature control for AC and 160 W Aston Martin audio system come as standard equipment in the roadster. The seats are truly luxurious for the way they are designed and the way the electric adjustments for reclining functions. Although these seats nest occupants in comfort they are modeled in such a way that speed enthusiasts charge their passion once they enter the cockpit.

Aston Martin has developed special vented discs for the brakes of V8 Vantage S Roadster which are powerful and are backed by Hydraulic Brake Assist and Emergency Brake Assist systems. ABS, Dynamic Stability Control and Traction Control systems leave greater authority at driver’s hands. Airbags and crumple zones are designed for the roadster to protect passengers along with roll-hoops which makes sure that passengers are not hurt if a roll-over takes place.
