The new Ford Fiesta Classic is much similar to the original Ford Fiesta and retains some of the best qualities such as the extraordinary balance on the road, a very responsive engine and excellent suspension. There is not much of a change in the new car except a few interior features and a new “Classic” badge. The new refreshingly fresh Fiesta Classic gets plenty of new introductions in the interior department. It is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options across three variants - LXI, CLXI and Titanium to suit growing customer requirements.

Powertrain & Performance

The Fiesta Classic Duratec 1.6 CXI a 1.6L In-line 4, 99.6 bhp engine that gives up 146 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard across all trims.

This Ford’s drive quality is smooth and flawless. No surprises here. The V8 serves up an awe-inspiring gush of power as one antes up on speed, and runs through the seamless shifts effortlessly. Powerful, no-drama-anti-lock brakes work with predictable precision. Acceleration is satisfactory. Ride quality is comfortable. Steering is crisp and efficient. The Fiesta Classic soaks up bumps efficiently and is a breeze to drive, thanks to its especially tuned suspension features.

Build & Styling

Ford Motors has taken the good looks of the Fiesta a notch higher with the launch of the Fiesta Classic. The Fiesta Classic has not been treated to any new designs on the exterior except the “Classic” badge at the rear. But when it comes to interiors, the Fiesta Classic is a class to reckon with. Plenty of new additions will please even the most discerning minds.

The Ford Fiesta Classic boasts of some racy interior features including liquid metal centre console, metallic insets on trim, race track inspired seat fabric, and a fancy new 2 DIN MP3 player. Additionally, a lot of new features, such as air conditioning with electric re-circulation and heater, Power steering, Tilt adjustable steering column, Front and rear power windows and Electric Boot Release have been added as standard features across all the variants.

Like all the other Ford models, Ford Fiesta Classic also packs in quite a few safety features. Some of the most important ones are anti-lock braking system (ABS) with EBD, Driver and Front Passenger airbags, Central locking and PATS (Passive Anti-Theft system), and Programmable keyless entry and Auto re-locking.
