Hyundai i20 is the epitome of luxury and technology. The impulsive style, power-packed performance, and exquisite interiors of the sedan are offered under the Hyundai brand known for reliability and value. With its alluring style and active performance, it challenges its rivals. A number of first-in-segment features are available in the Hyundai i20 like rear parking camera with display in the cabin mirror, electro chromic mirror which offers anti-glare vision during night time driving, clean air-cluster ionizer, Auto Headlight Control Function (the lights turn on automatically when visibility drops), supervision cluster, rain sensing wipers, 6 airbags and rear disc brakes.

Powertrain & Performance

The Hyundai i20 is equipped with an option of 3 engines- the flamboyant 1.2 Kappa petrol engine with Dual VTVT mechanism which delivers 82.8 bhp of peak power, hi-tech 1.4 U2 CRDi diesel engine that delivers 88.7 bhp power and 1.4 Gamma automatic petrol delivers 98.6 bhp power. The suspension system of Hyundai i20 comprises of McPherson strut with stabilizer bars and a torsional beam at the rear which offers a stable ride.

Build & Styling

The Hyundai i20 is well ahead of its predecessors in terms of exterior styling, interior comfort, convenience, and performance. The exterior features wraparound clear lens headlamps and tail lamps, chrome finish radiator grille, roof antenna, body-coloured bumpers, tailgate handles, outside door handles and outside mirrors, fuel wheel covers, alloy wheels and electric sunroof with slide and tilt functions. The Hyundai i20 has luxurious interiors with 2 tone brown beige interior colour, silver finish on centre fascia & AC vents, chrome finish inside door handles and locks, vanity mirror in the passenger side sun visor, coat hook, passenger side seat belt pocket and front door map pockets. The secondary controls and accessories are illuminated at night by Hyundai's characteristic blue lighting. The Hyundai i20 is loaded with many safety features. The top 3 variants include 6 airbags & ABS. The smart pedal system (in the event of panic braking, the brake pedal overrides the accelerator) however, is available only on the petrol variants. Also, speed sensing auto door locking is available only on the top-of-the-line variant. The other features include automatic temperature control with heater, AC vents with shut off option (front), power steering - electronic, clutch footrest, power windows, tilt and telescopic steering, glove box cooling and rear defogger with timer.
