Jaguar built this car with an idea of clubbing characteristics of a sports car into the drive which is as pleasurable as a touring model. The Jaguar XKR Coupe was born. This car is a perfect balance of power, elegance, style, and luxury. Detailing is the essence and strength of the car. The model from the XK-Series is a perfect reflection for powerful essence of Jaguar's design and engineering. Powered by a supercharged engine which delivers high levels of power and torque at all engine speeds, the car provides immediate throttle response, mind-blowing mid-range acceleration and brilliant drivability.

The XKR Coupe is a single variant which has 18 different colour options to show off its beauty and the beast within is a 5.0L supercharged V8.

Powertrain & Performance

Under the hood, XKR Coupe shares the same engine capacity of that of a XKR Convertible. Powered by a 5.0L V8 petrol engine with a heady output of 503 bhp and torque of 625 Nm this beast can spring into action from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The 6-speed automatic gearbox is standard in the car. The performance of the car is enhanced with a well tuned front and rear suspension providing a cushioning effect. The car further boasts of new advanced driving technologies such as Adaptive Dynamics, Active Differential Control, JaguarDrive Control, and JaguarDrive Selector.

Build & Styling

The stylish exterior is done using aluminum which features a monocoque body shell formed using epoxy bonding and fascinating methods that are commonly seen in the aerospace industry. This type of body structure results in light weight car body and showcases sturdy build quality and strength. The beauty of the front is enhanced by the dynamic design of headlamps and air vents on front bumper. The bonnet carries vents which improve the cooling level of the bulky engine of the XKR. The large wheels and bulky haunches running over the rear quarter panel expose the power that is hidden within the skin of this grand Coupe. The rear features spoilers and twin circular exhaust tips at both ends.

The spacious and well-appointed cabin of the car is a work of art. The superior quality material used in the cabin defines the unique approach of Jaguar towards quality and craftsmanship. Leather in soft grain grade is used along with wood veneers which beautify the space. Aesthetic detailing is provided at every bit of threading that binds leather to the cabin. Dual-zone climate control AC comes as a standard equipment with the Coupe. To inform and entertain passengers there are audio and visual gadgets which have ergonomically positioned controls. A 7-inch touch screen display sitting at the center of the dashboard is used to control audio system, Bluetooth function and the air conditioner.

Standard safety features in the Jaguar XKR Coupe comprises of Advanced Safety Systems - including Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), jaguar's adaptive restraint technology system, and pedestrian contact sensing system.
