The British automaker had the idea of producing a fuel-efficient, environment friendly vehicle, when it designed the LRX concept. The aim was to produce a vehicle which was smaller than regular Land Rover cars. This concept took the name ‘Range Rover Evoque’, when it reached production lines.

The idea of integrating the characteristics and style of a sports coupe into a huge SUV is simply mind-blowing. With all its on-road and off-road driving caliber built into marvelously fashioned body, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Coupe is truly a breath-taking model. The car has some best in class features when it comes to luxury. It comes as a five-seater model which is available in nine colours. The interior space has six different colour combinations to choose from.

Powertrain & Performance

The power house of this big-size coupe is a 2.0L petrol engine, which uses direct injection technique to develop a power of 236 bhp at 5500 rpm. The vehicle accelerates to 100 km/h from stand-still within 8 seconds. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission system. This system has a circular, rotatable knob which can change the driving mode based on the mood of the driver. The 2.0L all-aluminium petrol motor runs 8.7 km with one litre fuel.

Land Rover has included the Terrain Response system in its Range Rover Evoque Coupe. This system monitors and controls traction, braking and steering under different road conditions. The car has an Electronic Power Assisted Steering which is capable of changing the behavior of steering wheel at different driving speeds.

Build & Styling

Range Rover Evoque Coupe, the two-door model, looks more like a hefty sports hatch. It has dynamic headlamps and light-blade LED fog lamps which electrify the face of the large coupe. Trademark Land Rover front grille, boldly designed bumper and large wheel arches gives an aggressive stance to the car. The roof sloped backwards and ends with a spoiler at rear. The rear of the car is bulky and has two rectangular exhaust tips. Two bold character lines extend on the side body of the big wagon. Panoramic roof top is covered with a tough black glass which lets light into the cabin and makes it look spacious.

The company has made use of plush materials to build the interior of Range Rover Evoque Coupe. Sporty Seats, with different colour options for leather upholstery, are mould to provide top-class comfort. Both the seats on the front have electric adjustments so that the customer can find the best seating posture easily. The aesthetics of the cabin gets refined by Textured Aluminium and Gloss Black Strata decors which flow on center console and dashboard. Climate control AC comes as a standard feature in this grand vehicle. The British marque has provided 3 additional seats in the rear of the two-door coupe which includes ISOFIX child seats. The infotainment equipment in the grand coupe includes 825 Watt Meridian sound system and a touch screen display which enables navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Coupe has safety built into its multiple performance equipment. The Dynamic Stability Control and Hill Descent Control features take care of the torque supplied to each wheel, braking levels for each wheel and traction levels.
