Overview

“When you trade flash for substance, When you choose control over the lack of it, When you grow up to evolved choices, You become the VERITO MAN.” The Mahindra Verito is an embodiment of the bold, the sporty and the masculine that beautifully lives up to its tag line — "Grow Up to Verito," which is a call to be mature and to live like a Verito man. A Verito man is one who values performance and quality over just style. The Verito comes with a revamped exterior that includes new eyebrow headlights, chrome plated front grille, stylish new fog lamps, classy new alloy wheels and a new bumper. It is known for its fantastic handling, amazing ride quality and superior performance.

It is available in two engine options — diesel and petrol. The variants available are G2, G4, D2, D4 and D6 in both BS III and BS IV.

It is available in an array of eight colours that include Toreador Red, Fiery Black, Java Brown, Mist Silver, Twilight Blue, Rocky Beige, Diamond White and Dolphin Grey.


Powertrain & Performance

The Mahindra Verito is equipped with a flamboyant 4-cylinder, 8-valve, 1390 cc petrol engine, which churns out a maximum of 75 bhp @ 5500 rpm and the maximum torque is 110 Nm @ 3000 rpm.

The splendid 4-cylinder, 8-valve, 1461 cc diesel engine churns out a maximum of 65 bhp @ 4000 rpm and the maximum torque is 160 Nm @ 2000 rpm. The engines are mated to 5-speed manual transmission.

The suspension device consist of MacPherson-type with wishbone link in the front and H-Section torsion beam with programmed deflection-coil spring at the rear that delivers comfortable ride even on bumpy roads. The turning radius is 5.25 m, which helps the car to manoeuvre easily around the corners smoothly.


Build & Styling

The Mahindra Verito flaunts sophisticated bends, masculine body lines, and bold cuts that impart an elegant new look to this sedan. The exterior features include front grille with chrome top bezel, windshield wiper, reverse light, body coloured bumpers and high mount stop lamp. The interior is luxurious with plush fabric upholstery, instrument panel topper pad, centre console storage space, sun visors and mobile holders. The cabin is more roomy and comfortable with redesigned centre console and door trims. The high ground clearance and responsive power steering keep the drive quality high. The Driver Information System gives live information about the car's performance.

The Mahindra Verito is equipped with highest safety standards. The safety features present are headlamp leveling device, collapsible steering column, anti-theft electronic encoded safety system activated by transponder, front disc brake, child proof rear door locks, halogen headlamps, prismatic day-night inside rear view mirror and laminated windshield. The comfort features present in this sedan are air conditioner, cabin heater, front and rear head restraint, remote operated fuel tank lid and boot opener.
