Overview

Maruti Suzuki Ritz is the blend of new generation designing and futuristic engineering which beautifully defines its tag line "Live the moment". It is the first BSIV complaint car in India. The technologically advanced high performance engine and best in class fuel efficiency makes it more appealing for being a family car. The Petrol engine gives a mileage of 17.7 kmpl where the diesel engine promises a mileage of 21.1 kmpl.

The Maruti Suzuki Ritz is available in two engine options - petrol and diesel. The variants available are Lxi, Vxi and Zxi in petrol and MC LDI, MC VDI, and MC ZDI in diesel.

The Ritz is available in an array of 8 colours that comprises of fire Brick Red, Bakers Chocolate, Blue Blaze, Silky Silver, Racing Green, Glistening Grey, Midnight Black and Superior White.

Powertrain & Performance

Maruti Suzuki Ritz is equipped with the all new K-series petrol engine. The splendid 1197 cc petrol engine churns out a maximum of 83.8 bhp @ 6000 rpm and the maximum torque is 113 Nm @ 4500 rpm. The internationally acclaimed DDiS 1248 cc diesel engine churns out a maximum power of 73.9 bhp @ 4000 rpm and the maximum torque is 190 Nm @ 2000 rpm. The engines are mated with 5-speed manual transmission gearbox.

The suspension system comprises of McPherson strut and coil spring in the front and torsional beam and coil spring at the rear which provides comfortable ride even on uneven roads. Ritz can be driven to any nook and corner of the city owing to its small turning radius of 4.7 m.

Build & Styling

Maruti Ritz has been inspired by the contemporary European styling. The body coloured bumpers imparts a strong and refined statement. The aerodynamic shape conveys a smart and classy look. The other exterior features include internally adjustable manual ORVM (both sides), black coloured B pillar, hub caps, rear window defogger and alloy wheels.

The interior is luxurious with 60:40 split rear seat, foldable grip assistant, front door trim pocket, front seat head restraint (adjustable), roof antenna, cup holder in console, clock, anti-glare interior rear-view mirror, boomerang shaped lamps, sporty dashboard, waterfall console and accessory socket. It has best in class headroom and legroom. It also features under seat tray, coin receptacle, bottle holders and shopping bag hook.

Maruti Ritz is equipped with highest safety standards without compromising on comfort. The safety features present are iCATS, rear fog lamp, child lock (rear door), central locking, front fog lamp and ABS with EBD. The other features like high driving position, dash mounted gear lever, height adjustable steering and low NVH levels adds to the comfort of this car.

The high ground clearance and responsive power steering keep the drive quality high.
