Overview

Maruti Suzuki has been doing everything it could to conquer the midsize premium sedan segment of Indian market. The introduction of the diesel version back in 2011 seems to have not done the job for the Indian automobile leader. Amidst poor market sentiments the sales of SX4 has been dwindling for quite a longtime. By the end of 2012, rumors about introduction of facelift version of this premium saloon sprung in automobile market. The company has finally done some modifications to this car to place it in a competitive position in India. The car has some of the most critically acclaimed engines in the world as its heart. The best part for the facelift version is that these engines are tuned further to provide better fuel economy. The auto marque has added two new colours in the options list for the new car. Available in petrol, diesel and CNG fuel options with good fuel economy for all three versions, the car now seems to be capable of threatening the position of other rivals in the segment.

Maruti Suzuki SX4 is available in two variants for each fuel option. The colour tones available for this premium sedan are Granite Grey, Serene Blue, Clear Beige, Pearl Arctic White Glistening Grey and Silky Silver.

Maruti Suzuki SX4 Build, Styling Review

Build & Styling

Maruti Suzuki SX4 is known for its long body, low standing posture, elegant curves on front fascia which give the premium saloon a majestic stance. The auto giant has tweaked this pleasing sculpture to add more value to the car. The inclusion of turn indicators in outside rear view mirrors, bold chrome tipped front grille and air vents in front bumper carrying black slits and circular fog lamps brighten the aesthetic aspect for SX4. Wrap around headlamps sitting around contoured bonnet charms the automobile further. The most adorable part of Maruti Suzuki SX4 is the way the roofline flows over the large trunk at rear. The bulky rear bumpers add more weight to the personality of the classy sedan.

The interior of Maruti Suzuki SX4 stands out for the fabrication of its upholstery. Beige coloured upholstery is designed to enhance the comfort level in interior. The dashboard comes as a combination of black and beige colours and is designed to fit ergonomically in the cabin space. The armrests on doors get wood finished trim which carries unique cubic design. Touch screen audio system with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity comes as an addition in this new facelift version.
