Mercedes-Benz India has launched the new generation sedan, Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class in India. The executive-size sedan was originally launched in 2004, based on the W211 E-Class platform. The second generation CLS-Class was introduced in September 2010 with its production getting flagged off in early 2011. The car has got a major face-lift as it has entered into the second generation, having incorporated the BlueEFFICIENCY technology. The boomerang headlights of the old CLS have been replaced by a more angular headlight design, ushering a new stylish and sporty four-door saloon into India. The use of high powered engines makes the CLS Class to stand out as a high-performance coupe with the comfort of a sporty saloon.
