The Renault Scala is the epitome of a bold and sporty character which is imposing and graceful, yet energetic and dynamic. It has best in class cabin space, powerful cooling and many other features concealed under the hood. It is known for its fantastic handling, amazing ride quality and superior performance.

The variants available are RxE and RxL in petrol and RxL and RxZ in diesel. It is available in an array of five exciting colours that include Pearl White, Solid Black, Metallic Silver, Metallic Blue and Metallic Red.

Powertrain & Performance

The Renault Scala is available in two engine options, petrol and diesel. The flamboyant 1498 cc XH2 petrol engine churns out 97.6 bhp @ 6000 rpm and the maximum torque of 134 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The 1461 cc K9K diesel engine churns out the maximum power of 84.8 bhp @ 3750 rpm and the maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 2000 rpm. The engines are mated with 5-speed manual transmission gear box. The suspension system comprises of McPherson Strut in the front and Torsional Bar at the rear which imparts precise handling and ride comfort even on uneven roads.

The incredible turning radius is 5.3 m helps the car to manoeuvre easily to any nook and corner of the city. The petrol car offers a mileage of 16.95 kmpl and the diesel car offers a mileage of 21.65 kmpl.

Build & Styling

Renault Scala flaunts bold front with two-tone sporty front bumper, smoked styled headlamps and chrome finished radiator grille. It is indeed the perfect blend of sophistication and dynamism. The rear signature tail lamp, the clean uncluttered lines, the soft and sweeping silhouette gives it a stance of stability and premiumness. The other exterior features include body coloured door mirrors, integrated roof antenna, chrome outside door handles, door sash blackout and chrome trunk garnish.

The interior is luxurious with meticulously crafted premium leather upholstery, chrome plated inside door handles, front cup holders on console, digital clock, 12V power outlet, cabin lamp, trunk lamp and reading lamp. The engine start/stop with illuminated push button allows starting the engine at the push of a button. The tilt adjustable electric power steering provides ease and comfort while driving as driving position can be adjusted. The multi directional rear comfort blowers redefine comfort for rear passengers by providing cool air with an option of a two-speed regulator. The Follow Me Home headlamps stay on for a certain period of time to light up the walkway, even after parking, making sure your exit is a smooth one. The stylishly designed and illuminated audio system keeps the entertainment on the go. It has a CD player, AM/FM radio, 4 speakers and an AUX jack.

The Renault Scala is equipped with highest safety standards without compromising on comfort. It promises of active and passive safety for the occupants. The front airbags reduce the probability of fatal injuries to the driver and the passenger in case of a frontal collision. The ABS with EBD and brake assist helps the driver control the vehicle in the event of an emergency braking situation. The other safety features present are speed sensing auto door lock, front and rear head restraints, engine immobiliser, anti-theft device, rear window defroster with timer and anti-pinch power window on driver side.
