SsangYong Rexton, developed in association with its South Korean subsidiary SsangYong Motors, the Rexton is being hailed as the next big game changer for Mahindra. The 3rd generation Rexton is built on the Mercedes Benz M-class platform and uses an ultra rigid frame and an intelligent torque vectron system. Rather massive in size, this big and imposing SUV with its plush interior and smart-looking exterior is expected to be yet another impressive value-for-money-proposition from Mahindra. Looking at the size and specs of the Rexton, it's likely to compete against the Ford Endeavor, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Hyundai Santa Fé. But will it succeed to carve a niche for itself? Well, that is only for time to tell.
