Tata Safari Storme, the mighty SUV, is an epitome of bold and masculine character which does not fear any terrain. The New SUV is loaded with many features. The car is available in four different variants with two wheel drive and four wheel drive systems. It is known for its fantastic handling, amazing ride quality and superior performance. Tata Safari Storme is available in the following dazzling colours that include Urban Bronze, Sardinia Red, Pearl White, Pearl Champagne, Astern Black and Arctic Silver.

Powertrain & Performance

Tata Safari Storme is powered by a flamboyant 2179 cc 16-valve VTT VariCOR (Variable Turbine Technology) diesel engine that churns out a staggering power of 138 bhp @ 4000 rpm and the maximum torque is 320 Nm @ 1700-2700 rpm. It is built on the highly fuel efficient DOHC platform which does not compromise on anything. The engine is mated to G 76 5-speed manual transmission system. The suspension device consist of Independent double wishbone type with coil springs over shock absorbers in the front and 5 link suspension with coil springs at the rear which conveys comfortable ride even on bumpy roads. The turning radius is 5.4 m which helps the car to manoeuvre easily to any nook and corner of the city. The incredible high ground clearance of 200 mm ensures that no roadblock messes with the cruising Storme.

Build & Styling

The Tata Safari Storme is endowed with striking roof rails, chrome plated rear-view mirrors, chrome strip over front grille with the name STORME, dual exhaust tips with chrome surround and distinctive front grille design that imparts an elegant look to this SUV. The interior of Tata Safari Storme is luxurious and spacious. The eclectic combination of beige leather, wood and chrome imparts a unique visual essence. The steering wheel draped in leather, the chrome-tipped gear, wood - accentuated dashboard and stylish door trims add to the sophistication of the SUV. The car is loaded with many comfort and convenience features like power steering, adjustable steering column, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and A/C), roof mounted rear AC, all power windows with express down feature, power foldable side rear-view mirror, electrical rear glass demister, remote central locking, electrically operated remote fuel flap, master light switch with fog lamp controls, auxiliary sockets and electrically adjustable side rear-view mirrors. There are numerous air vents that keep the cabin temperature in perfect control.

The Tata Safari Storme is equipped with highest safety standards without compromising on comfort. The crumple zone and dual SRS airbags protect the occupants in the event of collision. In case of a mishap, the inertia switch automatically cuts off the fuel supply and unlocks all the doors while switching the hazard light on. The ventilated brakes on all the four wheels and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) ensure precise braking. The other safety features present are side impact bars, engine immobiliser, tubeless tyres, clear lens front fog lamps, rear fog lamp with reflex reflector, motorised headlamps adjustment, central locking and child safety lock, anti-glare rear-view mirror, seatbelt unfastened warning, door open warning, headlamps on key-out warning and reverse guide system with display in IRVM.
